Two-legged strutting...Vain's world.

Why do hotels and resorts feel the need to add “boutique” to their name? They’d be much better off simply acting the part through and through. A good name gets the brand rolling; stuffing an unnecessary descriptor into the name is clunky, distracting  and expensive. Stuffing is for turkeys. Forced descriptors take away from the name, having the opposite effect of what was intended. Forcing is for bulbs. They even put the staff in the position of having to constantly defend that attribute of the brand. Tabou. As you can see from some who could use a touch of the eraser, White-Out, Photo-Shop or their boo-boo remover of choice, it’s apparently a regional malaise.
